Acute pancreatitis: An inusual presentation of SARS-CoV-2

Si bien la forma de presentación más habitual de la enfermedad por SARS-CoV-2 es el compromiso pulmonar, se han descripto manifestaciones extra pulmonares reflejando la naturaleza sistémica de la enfermedad. Se describe un caso de pancreatitis aguda relacionado al SARS-CoV-2 en un paciente con forma leve de enfermedad y sino otros factores de riesgo asociados a pancreatitis. Los casos publicados de esta enfermedad fueron revisados a fin de resumir el conocimiento actual de la misma. La pancreatitis aguda asociada a SARS-CoV-2 es una complicación posible que implica un diagnóstico de exclusión, aunque es necesario una mayor evidencia a fin de establecer su relación. Debe tenerse en cuenta al SARS-CoV-2 en el contexto epidemiológico global actual como diagnóstico diferencial en los cuadros de pancreatitis aguda alitiásica e idiopática.
